At JR Construction, we understand that the key to long-term success in the construction industry lies in developing and recruiting top talent. That’s why we are proud members of the Louisiana State University Construction Industry Advisory Council (LSU CIAC).
Founded in 1997, the LSU CIAC was established to build LSU’s Construction Management (CM) Department into a premier training ground for future construction managers. Through mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and hands-on skills training, the CIAC helps students gain the expertise and experience needed to make an impact from day one.
Our involvement with the LSU CIAC goes beyond membership—we actively participate in key events designed to help students transition from classroom to career. This includes job fairs in both the fall and spring, the annual golf tournament, and a variety of networking events. These opportunities allow us to not only connect with upcoming talent but also to offer guidance and real-world insight into the construction industry.
